Reticulated Python
This snake is the longest snake in the world. Most reach 17 feet at adulthood which is the length of a school bus! It hunts mainly at night and eats mammals and birds.
Saltwater Crocodile
This giant is the largest of the reptile group. Adult males are usually 17 feet and females can grow up to 10 feet. A large adult will eat large mammals such as monkeys, cattle, and wild boar. Even though they are called saltwater crocodiles, they are found in freshwater and swamps.
Mako Shark
This shark is the world's fastest shark. It can cruise up to 50 miles per hour. Its speed helps it catch its food which includes tuna, herring, and porpoise. Sometimes, it builds up enough speed to jump out of the water.
Giant Spider Crab
This is the largest crustacean in the world! with a 12 foot leg span, it takes up two parking spaces! The crab's body is 15 inches. It lives in the sea and feeds on dead animals on the ocean floor.
Bald Eagle
The bald eagle hold a record for building the largest nest out of all birds. The nest can be 8 feet wide and 16 feet deep. Wow! I could live in that!
